Stav Dvorkin



Stav performed on stage for the first time in Ireland in 2004 with the Galway Youth Theatre. He began training  with the Irish Dramatic Combat Academy in 2005 and in 2007 he began full time actor training with The Bull Alley Theatre Training Program, he graduated in 2010.

He went on to become an instructor with the IDCA as well as a fight director and choreographer with several theatre companies.

Theatre credits include Big Love (Abbey Theatre), Merchant of Venice (Devise+Conquer), Measure for Measure (Whiskey Tango Foxtrot). Stav performed on stage with Bull Alley theatre training company in several theatre productions at the Civic Theatre including Angels in America, Dracula, Macbeth and The Crucible. He has been a member of Whiplash Productions since its inception in 2006; With Whiplash he has worked in shows such as Spartacus: Highway to Hell, and the critically acclaimed War of the Roses Trilogy.

Fight directing credits include Footloose (Stillorgan Musical Company at the Mill), Romeo and Juliet (Devise+Conquer at the Complex Theatre and the Moat theatre), Macbeth (Bull Alley at the Civic), The Libertine (Bull Alley at the Civic), Romeo and Juliet (Marino College).

Stav has worked as a stunt performer on all four seasons of the History Channel & MGM’s “Vikings”, Season 3 of Showtime’s “Penny Dreadful”, Season 1&2 of the BBC’s “Ripper Street”, Sky’s TV Mini-Series “Moonfleet”, Parallel Films TV movie “An Old Fashioned Christmas”, AGSB Productions ”Asterix et Obelix”, and the forthcoming period action drama “Pilgrimage” starring Tom Holland, Jon Bernthal and Richard Armitage.
