Keith Ward




Keith Ward is a uniquely talented and highly motivated individual. In 2006 he began plying his trade in the entertainment industry and it was also the year in which he began his training with the Irish Dramatic Combat Academy. He continues to train and develop his skill base within their ranks and is currently a certified Combat Instructor for the IDCA.


Over the years Keith has embodied actor, writer, director, and fight choreographer. As an actor he has performed on the National Stage – the Abbey Theatre (National Theatre of Ireland), the Project Arts Centre, the New Theatre, the Complex Theatre, Smock Alley Theatre, amongst others.


His natural acting ability coupled with the training he has immersed himself in – Kickboxing; Certified member of the Royal Life Saving Society; SCUBA Diving Instructor; from rock climbing to skydiving, advanced precision driving and high board diving – have all combined to pave his way from pure stage acting to stunt work and choreography.

Keith began to establish himself as a stunt performer in 2010 and in 2014 Keith became a member of Stunt Register Ireland – an organization that works to encourage and develop Irish based talent, both nationally and internationally.


His theatre fight director credits include: Threshold at the Project Arts Centre; On the Batter at The Complex Theatre; Bloodknot at the Project Arts Centre; Faustus and After Midnight Before Dawn at Smock Alley Theatre; Testimonies, a Smashing Times Theatre Company Touring Show; Extremities at The International Theatre; and Human Herd at The New Theatre. 

And his stunt performance credits include: Asterix et Obelix for AGSB Productions; Ripper Street and Undercover for the BBC; Da Vinci’s Demons for Starz; From the Dark for Dark Sky Films; and Jekyll & Hyde for the UK’s ITV; Vikings Seasons 1 – 4 MGM/ History Channel;
